The New Jersey State Board of Dentistry requires the mandatory completion of forty (40) hours of continuing education for license renewal, which takes place every two years. For registration renewal beginning on November 1, 2023, the following 10 hours must be completed as part of the 40 required hours.
Although HIPAA Compliance is regulated by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and enforced by the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) it is NOT A LICENSURE REQUIREMENT. Practitioners are, however, required to be updated. The NJDA has elected to add this program into our Licensure Requirement Series offerings.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL NJDA IF YOUR PROGRAM IS TAKING PLACE AFTER 5:00PM. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY ISSUES, PLEASE EMAIL CONFERENCE@NJDA.ORG AFTER HOURS. THANK YOU!
